Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Saturday attended the wedding Fatiha of Salisu Barau Mangal, son of prominent businessman, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, and his bride, Engr. Hauwa Kangiwa, daughter of Hussain Kangiwa.
The colourful ceremony was held at the bride’s family residence in the Gesse area of Birnin Kebbi, drawing dignitaries, political associates, family members, and well-wishers.
Governor Radda served as the *waliyyi* (representative) of the groom, while Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, performed his religious duties during the event.
Special prayers were offered for the couple, seeking divine blessings of love, peace, and happiness in their marriage.
Among those present were Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Tafida; Senator Adamu Aliero, former Governor of Kebbi; Senator Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning and also a former Governor of Kebbi; Senator Yahya Abdullahi Argungu; and Senator Muntari Dandutse.
Others included the father of the groom, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal; Sarkin Arewa, Alhaji Aminu SDY; APC Public Relations Officer in Katsina, Shamsu Sule Funtua; businessman and politician, Shamsu Abu, alongside several top government officials.
